MasterChef Junior is a culinary television series based on the original hit show MasterChef. This series, however, is all about young chefs. All of the contestants are between the ages of 8 and 13. This group of aspiring young cooks is out to impress a panel of all-star judges including Chef Gordon Ramsay, Chef Graham Elliot, and winemaker/restaurateur Joe Bastianich. This group of renowned judges will take some of the most talented rising stars of the cooking world and present them with chances to show off their strengths and expose their weaknesses. Each week, this impressive group of children take on a new challenge designed to test and hone their cooking skills.
At the end of each challenge, the judges will eliminate someone from the competition. These already talented young chefs will receive guidance and advice along the way from the seasoned panel of judges. Later in the MASTERCHEF kitchen, the judges will reveal which team received the best overall feedback on their dishes and had the most successful lunch service and which contestants will be in jeopardy of elimination.
